Invite question: Inner envelope?

Invite question: Inner envelope?

My question is..
the guest's names are already written on the outer envelope...
for example, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Jones

what do you write on the inner envelope?
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Jones again?

You can put the guest's actual name on the inner. Such as: Aunt Diane and Uncle Joe, whereas Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schmo is on the outer! HTH!

You would just put . Mr. and Mrs Jones. You leave out the 1st name and if they have kids you list them underneath that.

this is what I did! unless it was a widower, I felt sad just putting 'Mrs. Doe'....so I put 'Mrs. Jane Doe' on the inner as well.

We put less formal names. Some were Mr. & Mrs. Smith...and some were Aunt Diane & Uncle John...we put what we call the guests on a regular basis
