Invite question on 'Reception to Follow' Placement
Where did you put the wording. We are getting married at the same place we are having the reception. I am about to order but I am getting conflicting advise on where the 'Adult Reception to Follow' should go. Is it centered on the bottom of the invitation or on the lower left (if you are facing the invite)? What did you do?

Re: Invite question on 'Reception to Follow' Placement
I've heard it goes on the lower left. We are including a separate insert for our reception info, which is at a different location than the ceremony.Have you checked the etiquette sites?

We have the same situation and just ordered our invitations last week. The printer said the the proper 'etiqutte' is to have it centered on the bottom. He showed us samples of both the bottom and lower left and the bottom just looked better. IMO

Here's where we put ours. This is how I've seen it done for all of the weddings where the location is the same for both.

Re: Invite question on 'Reception to Follow' Placement
In my faith, it is customary to have the ceremony and reception at the same location so I personally have seen it done on the response card and that is how I plan to do it. Do what makes you feel most comfortable.

Re: Invite question on 'Reception to Follow' Placement
We left it out because we felt it was redundant. The ceremony was at Villa Lombardi's they would connect the dots themselves.

Re: Invite question on 'Reception to Follow' Placement
The first proof I got had the 'Reception immediately following the ceremony' done as a centered footnote. But I didn't like it because I thought it looked too scrunched up. So we got a separate reception card. Ordinarily I wouldn't have felt it necessary to add that extra piece, but we got 50% the invites so I didn't care about the cost.
