Invite Question that I Forgot to Ask: Please Help

So my FSIL and her FH are getting married on 5/21/11, which is 7 weeks before me and FH(her brother).
She doesn't care that we are getting married that close to her wedding, it's no big deal. Due to some circumstances we had to move the wedding to that date.

So what I need to know is: When is it appropriate to send out my invites. I wanted to send them out 2 months ahead, but that would mean that I have to send them out before her actual wedding, and I think that's inappropriate.

Any suggestions?

I dont think its inappropriate, people need to make plans- 2 months is perfect

I really don't see any issue with that... you kind of have to send them out before her wedding, no? I am sending mine out just over 2 months of my wedding and my RSVP bill be 4 weeks before.. I wanna get the final list done sooner than later! If I were you... I would not even think twice

Send them out. You can't afford to wait until after her wedding - that is cutting it real close I would think (I'm send mine out 3 months prior). Maybe you should send it out even a little earlier to avoid people getting them the week of her wedding.

Stick w/your 2 months in advance plan. People will no not to confuse the two events or miss place yours etc.

Thanks girls! And I think I am going to send them out just a little more than 2 months away, like 2 1/2 months just so no one gets them the week of her wedding.
