Invite questions.

How many months before the wedding should the invites be sent out?

And I am planning on making them myself. Where do I start? haha. I feel so lost. I bought all my paper, envelopes and folders. What other supplies do I need?

THe cardstock that I bought is poster size any good recommendations on paper cutters? Thanks.

i would say the invites are sent out about 6-8 wks before the big day. but figure out when your final head count is due--cause you need to give yourself some time for the people who you will have to call who don't RSVP. (happens everytime)

if your invites are a DIY project, i'd start them soon so that you can have some trial and error with them and figure out which one you like the best!

I would mail them out the 2nd or 3rd week ok of February and have an RSVP date for the 2nd or 3rd week of March.

You'll need a few weeks to get your final count, tables together, place cards, make phone calls on the slackers...etc. etc.
