When I address the envelopes for a married couple do I put Mr. & Mrs. Last Name or Mr. First Name & Mrs. First Name Last Name.
Also on the RSVP cards, are you supposed to put the names of everyone youre inviting in the line? Or one persons name plus a number? Im so confused!

Yeah I think IM gonna do that! And are you saying on the RSVP card youre going to leave the M_________ line blank for them to fill out? How will they know how many guests theyre allowed to bring?

wow all these little things i don't even think about!!
I would say Mr and Mrs Frank Rizzo too (gotta love jerky boys haha) as opposed to just Mr. and Mrs. Rizzo....
And I think M_________ is fine... they should know how many are invited based on who the envelope is addressed to.... at least that's what I assume. Maybe I'm wront

Girl, I never even thought about this. I had no idea until it came down to addressing them! Im stumped and stressed!
Well, Im worried about leaving the M_____ blank because my family is crazy and will put their mailmans name down on it if I dont regulate!

i'd say if youre worried then put their name and how many seats youre reserving for their 'party'. i dont see any harm in that!

Re: Invite Questions...Please help
you can make the rsvp card say their name and then '2 seats are being reserved in your honor' then __ attending or something so they can fill in either 1 or 2

yea usually Ms. is for older women who aren't married and Miss is for younger women... but Ms. could be used for either.

Re: Invite Questions...Please help
Im worried about how to write out the rsvps cause they say:
M______ __will attend __will not attend
Im confused cause if I write in the name of everyone who is invited and only some can come will they write the number like
M__John, Mary, Joey, Jason _2_ will attend _2_ will not attend
Will they know to write the number? Am I overthinking this? I think Im gonna have to enclose instructions with the RSVPS...

Re: Invite Questions...Please help
you could write something like this:
The favor of a reply is requested before November 1, 2008 Name_______________________ Number of persons ____ ___will attend ___will not be able to attend
it's not an 'official' way of doing it...I sorta made this up and am thinking of using it for mine because my immigrant relatives won't know what to do with the little blank line next to the attend/not attend. This way, they can put a check mark next to the will/won't and fill in the main person's name and how many in that party are coming

Re: Invite Questions...Please help
you can never separate a man's first name from his last name
So
It should always be
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gold
not
Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Sharon Gold
I originally wanted to do this not knowing, the proper way on my save the dates, my FH's parents are still married so i really thought it would of been nice to have his moms first name on it, but its not supposed to be that way.
