Invite to e-party???

Invite to e-party???

I am about 99% done with invites. They are addresses and assembled....QUESTION on who to invite from work.

Keep in mind I run a corporate fitness center, so I have no 'true co-workers' just members. I am inviting a few from HR/liasons who I deal with regularly. What about a few members I feel closer too? I am worried others might feel 'favoritism'

we just invited family and people in the bridal party - no one else. it kept it small and it kept us from having to choose who to invite and who not to invite!

Hope this helps!!

Because I work in retail, I couldn't invite everyone that I wanted to from work, otherwise they'd have to close the store for the day! I picked the 3 or 4 that I was closest with, and they are just invited to the wedding, not the other events. (Well, 2 are invited to the shower) Don't feel bad that you can't invite everyone - would they invite YOU to their wedding? Only invite them if you are really close with them, and the rest will understand.

Unless I was friends with these people outside of the work enviroment I would NOT invite them to my e-party or wedding. It should be a special time for close friends and family IMO.
editted to say: You cannot invite someone to your e-party unless you plan to invite them to your wedding. It is very poor etiquette to do that.

Re: Invite to e-party???

We just invited family and CLOSE friends and we were over 80 people. My mom has a huge family and they are all very close. This of course makes it hard for the wedding since we are paying. Mom and FMIL want to invite their offices, but I cannot even invite the teachers I will work with for the next 30 years of my life. Still don't know what to do
