Are we suppose to send a formal invite to those invited to our rehursal dinner? I was thinking of doing it online and calling everyone as well. Is that tacky? We are keeping it small (25-30 people).

Re: Invite to rehearsal dinner?
In am not doing invites. I will probably tell people through email and phone. I really don't wanna me a huge production of it, we are trying to find an inexpensive place so that we can invite spouses etc. Formal invites for rehearsal are way too over the top in my opinion..

i wouldn't waste the $, most people coming to the dinner are usually people you talk to regularly . For my cousins i don't think she gave one out

you don't have to! (unless you have materials on-hand to use, like I did so I DIY the invite)

Re: Invite to rehearsal dinner?
i am doing invites because i have over 60 people and some are family who may not be sure if they are invited. so i'm sending invites. but no RSVP or anything like that. i am assuming my family and bridal party are going to come!

Re: Invite to rehearsal dinner?
we are sending invites since half of the people invited are OOT, I want them to have something tangible to remind them to show up

Re: Invite to rehearsal dinner?
I sent them! I didn't want any excuses that my family and BP didn't know what time to be there, where to go or that they were even expected to go. I just bought a cute pack of invites at Target and wrote in the info.

Re: Invite to rehearsal dinner?
I sent out a facebook message and CCed everyone. We are only having like 25 people too. I didn't see the point in spending even more money on invites and stamps.
