Invite Wording

Quick question- my ceremony starts at noon. How do I write that on my invites? (I'm not having a super formal wedding or invites, but still a little formal!)

THANKS!

I think you are just supposed to write:

at twelve noon

I don't think it is appropriate to write o'clock and it technically isn't the afternoon, so that's what I would do. HTH

I can't imagine anyone thinking twelve o'clock means midnight. :)

Re: Invite Wording

My ceremony starts at 1pm, but I'm writing twelve forty five in the afternoon to counteract latecomers, and to allow my guests to be seated while listening to ceremony music before I walk down the aisle (hopefully promptly) at 1.

You might also want to consider writing a slightly earlier mass time... and that would also eliminate your 'noon' dilemna.

If you go earlier, you can write 'eleven forty-five in the morning'

Just an idea!
