Invite Wording??
We are getting married 12/15 and the invitations have the snowflakes on the borders. I was looking to do my own wording. I came up with something and wanted to get opinions, and also suggestions if anyone can think of something else:It's winter in New York
The snowflakes may be falling
But there is love in the air
And warmth in our hearts
Please join us as we,
Elizabeth
and
Mark
invite you to share with us a celebration of love
on December.....
Again, any suggestions would be great.

Re: Invite Wording??
I think you should change it to,...the snowflakes are falling
there is love in the air....
the other way sounds like snowflakes falling is a bad thing! Great poem, very creative!

So funny -we have like the same invites...I like jpsgirl's idea better too...I have a quote on top of mine that says 'A perfect snowflake is a gift from the sky, as beautiful and unique as our love is meant to be'. Good luck! Did you happen to get your invites from Gaddis Design?

Re: Invite Wording??
Marnles - I had seen yours posted recently and seriously considered asking if I could steal that, but wanted to at least try one on my own. I also like jpsgirl's better also, it is how I originally had it written but then was not sure about stating that snowflakes are falling, just in case they weren't, but I guess it's ok. I actually found our invitations at invitationsbydawn, and carlsoncraft has them as well. They are plain in the middle, with a snowflakeborder. I have seen the ones from Gaddis as well, and I loved them too

Well I love yours too!! Great job! Do you have a picture of your invites? I got my final sample yesterday (I'm using Favorite Things) - they came out so incredible; they totally exceeded my expectations! I can't wait till they are all done. What other winter ideas have you come up with?? I love talking about this stuff! Best of luck to you!!

Re: Invite Wording??
I think this is beautiful for a non-religious ceremony. If you are having a full mass or very religious ceremony I would put the 'poem' on a reception card instead. But I love the poem. It is very cute. I feel the winter weather just reading it.Welcome New Vendors
