Invite wording

Invite wording

Would any one know, or have suggestions on invite wording, when only the groom’s parents are contributing a percentage to the wedding. My Fiancé and I are paying for 95 % of the wedding, but his parents are helping. Just curios, look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Invite wording

In my opinion, I doesn't matter who contributes financially to the wedding, it's what you want the invite to read.
Our invitations will have both our parents names on it, yet we are paying for the wedding.

you can write:

Together with their parents,
Bride
&
Groom
blah blah blah

Together with their families. That's what we did and we had both sides contributing some along with us.

This is what we did. Exact wording can be seen in my Invites album.

Re: Invite wording

you can say 'together with our parents' or you can say something like

Jane and John, together with their parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jone Doe and Mr. & Mrs. Jack Dow, request the presence ....

neither of our parents are contributing and our parents names will be put on our invites....
