Invite Wording

so i went over the wording last night with FH- my parenst are divorced but have the same last name so its reads:

mr stephen C and mrs. ann marie c invite you blah blah

amanda
to
michael
son of mr and mrs. r k

he said he feels bad that everyone elses name is there but his moms

tried to explain to him the only reason my parents are seperated is bc there divorced and that when someone is married it always reads mr and mrs father and last name


what do i do?
im not changing it haha
anyone else do their wording differently?

The way you have it is perfect. It's not a slight on your mom that her name isn't on there. Your FH is funny.

You are 100% right, men just do not understand things sometimes. I tried explaining a registry to FH last night, and it was like talking to a wall. He thinks by registering, then we wont get monetary gifts at the wedding ---- helloooooooo, its called a bridal shower you moron!!

HAHA-- fh thinks registering is when he gets to pick bigger tvs and fluffier couches--- i tried to explain that one too- esp since last week he came home with a 50 inch tv-- haha

My mom is changing her name to her maiden name before the wedding so we said we should put my last name on it then right?

Does that sound right?? I told my mom i was going to add my dads name just to mess with her .. FH told me it sounds like my mom is throwing the wedding. Which she is paying for the hall, FIL are giving 5k, but every where i looked this is how I saw it. I kind of like that it does come across that way. But if just my mom was throwing the wedding their names wouldnt be one there. I would prefer just my moms on there but im not starting a war
