my bridal shower invite proof says 'hosted by the mother of the bride Josephine Arcuri'
i feel like its obnoxious.... what are some alternatives???

why is it obnoxious shes hosting it and shes your mom lol
maybe just eliminate that line altogether i dont think its necessary to say whose hosting on the bridal shower invite unless the shower is taking place at someones home

lol i dunno... the 'mother of the bride' i feel like it would be offensive to my MIL--- i think i think into things wayyyy to much.... i know the MOB is suppoed to hos anyway i just feel bad.... LOL

I think this sounds great!! Or you can put something like 'Given with love by Lizzie's proud mother'

I definitely wouldn't put MOB on there. I've been moving away from the 'hosted' language all together and using the host's name as the RSVP contact. But I would at least take off her title if you leave the 'hosted' part - people will figure out who she is.
