Invite wording question??? Divorced parents

K, Just wondering how are you wording your invites when BOTH sets of parents are divorced ?

Please dont ask , whos paying , as thats not the issue at hand.. Both FH & I are , but I dont want to diss respect my parenst nor his & exclude them from the invite..

I guess my question is how the heck do I word it . Do I put my moms name first or my dads ?

Mr Sal &*^^* & Ms Barbara *&*((
Request the honour ,,
blah blah blah ,

or do I put

Ms Barbara *&&% & Mr Sal &&*()(

Help

FH's parents are divorced..and we are paying for the wedding, but here is what we did...

Kathryn Smith
and
Blaine Jones
along with their parents
Mr & Mrs George Smith
and
Mrs Mary Lynn Jones
and
Mr Garry Jones
wish to invite you to share in their joy...

apparently when parents are divorced you are supposed to put them on separate lines...i beleive the mothers go first

yes, you cant put it

Mr Sal *&() & Ms Barbara *&^&%$*

Cant be on the same line , that I knew,,

But then the ? of the mothers same going first if the brides parents are divorced. & to my ear ( sounds weird I know ) hearing the females name first sounds wrong no ??

Gezzzzz Im gonna need a booklet when my invites are done , FH parents are both divoced & both remarried , & mine are divorced & not remarried,,

Its like forever long invite

This is what I put:

Ms. Janet B.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel B.
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Heather Robyn
to
Jeffrey Alan
son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald S.
etc, etc.

everyone was happy with that!
Actual pictures are in my album under 'our invites'
