Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
We originally estimated way too high, which is putting me under our minimum now. We guaranteed 150, and even worried that 175 may come at one point. This week, i'm thinking we are going to be well under 150. I had to throw together a B list which made me feel awful. It definitely depends on everyone's individual situation, though!
Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
They say 20%, but I think that is high. I'd judge more around 15%. That's what I am looking at.
Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
rule of thumb is that about 30% of the invited guests say no
Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
we had to go through our list and be realistic about how many OOT people aren't coming in and just got some new info about other people. our date is right around graduation time for colleges so there are some ppl we know can't make it. i would go through your list and see what you think. we've heard from some ppl already who can't make it .

Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
Our response ratio looks like it will end being at least 30, maybe as high as 35% (although about 8 of those invites were for relatives we had to invite that we knew in advance couldn't come due to old age, etc.). Some were surprise declines with no reason given. Others were people that would have normally come, but there were special circumstances (a friend's due date turns out to be 3 days after our wedding, a family friend was injured and cannot travel from FL before she heals...)
Re: Invited Guest/Response Ratio??
The norm is 20-30% say no and i would say its pretty accurate. A bunch of past brides posted that it was in that range that guests said no. I invited about 330 and had about 270 show up. So it was pretty true.
