Invited Guests vs. Final RSVP count

To the married 09 ladies,

What is the ratio of guests you invited to the wedding vs. how many attended/did not attend?

Just curious....

Approx 20% said no

45% said NO!!

We had about 30 guests from different countries that we knew would not come but we still had an additional 100 no's from people who live here! Considering we invited less than 300 people it was a huge amount of no's.

Our RH said typically 20-30% RSVP no, but it really depends on how many out of state people are invited. But no matter what you should be prepared for an almost full show rate, you never know.

Call me a geek but we had 12.65% of our guests say no. I opened up my spreadsheet to check.

Invited 166, 143 accepted

Im not married yet but you shouldnt go by that because some ppl we swore would say no said yes making us over lol. so be careful with that.

Thanks ladies. What I am really looking for is snap shot of:
Invited: 240
Yes: 200
No: 40

I am very aware of the percentages---I am looking for actual guest counts! TIA!

I heard it could be anywhere from 10-20% say no.

25 % said no ... My MIL invited way too many people I was hoping that at least 20% said no!

I invited 270 including about 15 from Italy that I 100% knew wouldn't come b/c they're old or never ever left Italy before and also about 15 '& Guests' w/ people I KNOW always come to things alone and it was just a formality. So you can look at it as 216 attending out of 270 invited but personally I think it's really more like 216 attending out of 240 b/c 240 is the number of invites I sent out where we knew it was not unrealistic to expect a yes.

So,

270 invited
but 30 I never expected to come in a million years (and aren't)
216 attending
