how many people do you think average actually come to the wedding that are invited?
the RH i want has a minimum of 100 people and my mom is afraid we won't be able to reach that. so far off of the top of my head there are about 120 or so people i want to invite...but i know i'm probably forgetting a lot of people.

well depending on how many OOTer's you plan on inviting... that # may be higher or lower than the norm... I know im my case, I dont have a huge amt of OOTers so i expect I amy be even lower than that 20%

well one of the main reasons i'm having it on long island is because a. i grew up there so its sentimental for me and b. both my grandfathers live there (g'mas have passed) and all my aunts and uncles and cousins on my moms side live there as well..and they make up the huge majority of the guest list.
OOT'ers would include ..haha us...the whole bridal party minus one who lives in queens, my dads side (2 aunts and uncles and four cousins), all of FH's family (teehee) but they live in DC, NJ and Mass so it's convenient for them still.
if we had the wedding in NC...EVERYONE would be traveling and our guest list would most likely be significantly lower....and there are key people that i know wouldn't be able to make it and it would really be a bummer for me.

I'm in the same boat....
The bulk of our invitees are local so I'm expecting my no rate to be lower than 20%. Although it being a holiday weekend, that might push me to the 20% mark.

im in the same boat. my room has a minimum of 140 people and my mom was freaking that we didnt have enough people.. we just did the guestlist and found out we have close to 200 people to invite, AND they are all local. now were freaking out because we didnt plan on having this many, we're just praying a lot of them cant make it haha
