I'm trying to order my invitations but I'm having a small problem. How far in advance to I need to send them out?? And so then when should the RSVP date be?? Please helP!

This is the timeline I am working with..
I plan to send out my invites the first or second week of Feb
My RSVP date is March 18th
My wedding date is April 16th

I sent my out December 8th RSVP date is January 19th wedding date is February 19th
I sent mine a little early because of holiday cards, etc.

I sent my invites out about 2 months before the wedding.

I sent mine out on Monday ( 9-10 weeks before the wedding) and my RSVP is 4 weeks before -Feb 4th.
I wanted to get the RSVP's in fast or I may have waited a week or so to send them out.
!2 weeks is a little early , people will forget, I think 6 weeks is not long enough...so IMO 10-8 weeks is best...because you need to take the time after the RSVP away from the total time.
