Invites

Where did everyone get their invitations? I am looking for an actual store not just a website because my aunt is paying for them and she needs to see them in person. Also if you could please give a suggestion that may also be kinda cheap. She is very strapped for cash and I know she wants to help but I dont want to put her out there. Thanks sooo much.

I'm in Queens too. They have a Blue Nile at the Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale.

Have you tried Party City? They have a lot of books and good prices.

I went to EZ Calligraphy in Cold Spring Harbor, which is about 45-60 minutes away from Queens.

There's a place that opened up in Mineola on Jericho Tpke called the 'Wedding Lounge'. I believe some girls mentioned on this site that they went there for invites. I don't really know too much about the place or how their invites are, but maybe get a number and check them out.

Yes!! That's where I am getting m invites....make sure you see Gina G. she is my DOC but she does all that stuff too....she is doing our invites and they are so reasonable....she has plenty of books and works within your budget. I live in Queens too and its not that far.

Party city has all of the birchcraft and carlson craft books. They are lower priced, and there are still some nice ones. Pary City offers a 30% discount from the book price. Costo.com offers a 40% discount, but doesn't have the full line of all of them. I'd recommned going to party city to look, and then seeing if you can order from costco.com online. I liked their website because you could insert your own text and play around with fonts and sizes until you liked how it looked. At party city you couldn't do that.
