Invites

Can you tell me how much you spent on invites? I looked at a very plain...nothing too fancy invite. It was on a heavy linen paper and had a ribbon...but that's it.

Price was $1700 for 175 invites. Is this high? I thought so...but dont have anything to base it on.

That's really high. I'm getting mine done by 'her' - 175 invites for way less than $1000 - and I have a ton of inserts.

Is the printing by 'her' raised...like not flat to the paper? I dont know what that type of printing is called.

$620 custom only includes invitation, rsvp double sided, reception card double sided, inside and outside envelopes, plus return address on both the rsvp envelope and the outer mailing envelope.

No, 'her' invites are not raised.

Raised lettering is called thermography. And yes, she can do it, but it costs way more.

Mine were a little under $1K for 150 pocketfolds with 3 inserts, rhinestone slide, ribbon, and addressing. I asked about thermography but decided it wasn't worth it.

i paid $1000 for 125 invites from her...

with multiple layers of paper, about 3 ribbons, rhinestone slides, 4 inserts, and all the addressing services.

but as laura mentioned, if you're looking at thermography, that quote of $1700 for 175 probably isnt too off...cuz thats alot more expensive
