Here's the deal. I found this amazing seller on Etsy who does handpainted invitations. I mean really gorgeous stuff. She's giving me a great deal on invites. BUT, FH talked to some of his coworkers and feels that we can do invitations cheaper.
I am torn because I talked to our mutual couple friend who just got married last April. She is so sweet and gave me price rundowns of everything she spent.
So, these invitations are only $100 over our initial invitation budget. And we didn't budget much to begin with.
I was going to DIY pocketfolds, but these invites save me the headache.
UGH. I'm so confused. I don't even know if I'm making sense. HELP!

Re: Invites - DIY, Handpainted or Cheap
And this is the link if anyone wants to look at her work. I can post that, right?
Otherwise, I'll edit and send it FM if anyone wants.
I haven't thought about my invites yet! but i am sure you guys will figure something out ...have you tried a sample from both to see which one you like better ???

Have you priced out other invites? I did a lot of research most places were within a $100 of each other. I just ended up going with someone who really got my vision 100%.

The pocketfolds seem to be really pricey, btw. $5 - $7 per invite. So, that was out. And the other stuff that seems to be less expensive are out of the catalogs. I got a bunch of samples, but didn't really like anything so much. These just seemed great because they weren't too far from our budget and very unique.
