Invites getting lost in the mail...did this happen to anyone?
Did this happen to anyone? One of my friends never got hers so Im assuming it got lost in the mail. This makes me nervous that maybe others got lost as well.

I had this happen with my Save the Dates. I think it's inevitable but it definitely makes me nervous. At least with invitations if you don't receive back an RSVP you can always call them and explain that you did send them one. Hopefully they won't be too much of a stick in the mud and think you forgot them on purpose.

also happened with my STD's. I didnt know though since it was a few people on FH's side. All of a sudden 2-21/2 weeks later they came back in the mail. Was very strange.

So far I havent received one back.. With the save the dates only 2 ppl didnt receive and it came back 2 weeks later..

I'm very angry
I got one sent back when it is the CORRECT address! It's confirmed and everything! And there is 1.27 on that so I think I'm going to have to go to the Post Office and fight it, I should not pay again...it's completely not my fault...grrr the USPS
I'm so angry b/c now the envelope is written on and ugly

Yup...this happened to me when I was sending out my invites. Just resend another one out.

I got 3 invitations back... and my aunt and 2 of my friends said they haven't got theirs yet. I am worried too!

Oh boy I hope not!
We did get one returned though and it had the correct address and the stamp was not canceled. When I asked the mailman why it came back he said he didnt know and that he would bring it back to the post office. So far it hasnt come back a second time, and I am praying it doesnt get lost now.

I havent gotten any back and I found out lastnight that FHs godfather never received it so I told his daughter if she can please give him her invitation since I sent her and her brothers one seperately and they all live together anyway.and she's gonna RSVP for both of them...

I just got one back in the mail yesterday which was wierd because I specifically asked the person for the address, and it came back that they do not live there.

sometimes if people live in apt buildings and their name isnt on the mailbox or something the mailman wont leave it. that may be the case with some of you ladies?
