Ok ladies, here are the first drafts of our invites. What do you think. We are printing them on this paper that has rough edges and putting a swarovski crystal when tying the bow. The ribbon is going to stay the same color, yet have a thicker edging. Please check them out on my album!

great concept, but i think the background should be lighter, its hard to read the text

Yes on here, it is hard to read, the grapes on the real invite are on the paper, their is vellum laying over the paper, so it does make it easier to read, we were thinking of darkening the ink, we also have the option of black ink. But with the black it was such a stark contrast.

I went and right click the pic......then I copied the properties link....then I pressed Insert Web Image and pasted it there....It's so easy.....

I like it and all the other pieces are SO cute! I have never seen anything like and think it will be a hit!
Also I would make the font thicker and/or darker.
BTW - Is that ribbon from Michaels???!! I think I just bought the same exact ribbon for my menus...see in my album! Too funny!

Thanks for all the love ladies. I am soo pleased with the invites, they look incredible with the vellum. I actually saw these invites on a site for 1400.00, and i could not afford that so I brought it to Danielle and Scott at Emerson Avenue Graphics and in less than a day, she did this. These are all rough darfts, but i think they look amazing. We were going for the simple and elegant theme on our invites.

I absolutely love these invites!!
I love the recpetion card and timeline, which is something I wanted, and still do. I hope I can figure it out on my own!
