invites question..

invites question..

ok, how many are you inviting and how many do you think will show ....

what is the general 'rule' here??

they ususally say 20-25 percent wont show

my min is 150 and will be inviting probably 200

I hope only 150-160 come

I think about 15-20% are no's I think that is the rule of thumb. We are inviting around 250 and hoping between 200-225 show

They say 20% wont attend...but I think it really depends. Do you have alot of out of town guests? Or are you getting married on a holiday weekend? Or is every single guest local? All those factors can sway the number.

My list is 275 and I am hoping only 200 say yes

i heard 20% usually dont show but with this economy i think the number is increasing so i would look at 20-30% not showing

We are inviting around 180ish... but are expecting a lot of ppl not to show bc have of the guests live upstate...

My minimum is 125.

I heard that if you send out STD's the number that come goes up. I still have to decide whether or not I'm inviting work people. It's so hard when you work in a school and on different grade levels every year.

totally agree, were inviting around 320, were expecting around 270
