A friend of mine is legally seperated from her husband. She moved back in with them and last I heard they're trying to work it out, but I don't things are going well. How do I address the invite?

I would write Mr. and Mrs. only because technically they are still married and their marital status may not be something he or she would share with you (even if they have)... it could start a whole new fight.

I would address to her & guest you don't want him showing up unwanted either that or call her and ask her whats going on and how you should address it
