Invites (small vent)

Whyyyyy is it so hard for people to fill out a RSVP correctly?!?!?! I've gotten them back with no name, although I purposely wrote 'names' on the RSVP instead of 'M' so people couldn't get confused. Apparently that didn't help. Luckily I numbered the back of the RSVP cards so I know who it belongs to. They don't check off if they are attending or not OR don't fill in the amount of ppl in their party OR they don't give me the name of their +1. One friend asked me how to fill it out and when I told her I gave her 2 seats so write how many ppl will be in your party she says 'wait so its me +2 more people I can bring??' Apparently filling out an RSVP is rocket science!

we havent had these issues yet but we did also number them. and people are commenting (kidding) about their # & what it is compared to others

PS the invisible pen from the 2013 bridal shower didnt work ! i was so mad! this is why LOL

Oh boy smh No one has mentioned the #s to me yet. They went in the order that I remembered them when we 1st started to make a wedding list. Simple as that! Lol

It's amazing how people do not know these things! I've learned a lot thru wedding planning and hopefully I will be the 'perfect' wedding guest in the future.

feel your pain. we numbered them too ( thank god ) 4 back with no names. I had a cousin message me and siad she was coming but is not filling out the card. WHY???? if you can message me, you can fill out the card.

People are so rude! Is it really that hard? We've spent money on these cards, the envelopes, the stamps... Why can't you fill it out and drop it in a mailbox?! Don't they realize we need them for the seating charts and to keep organized. I don't want to refer to your text msg... Fill out the damn card!!! Lol

A friend said that to me too and I told her I wasn't accepting the RSVP unless she sent back the card. lol

ours went bridal party, family, friends, work then add ons.

but we sorted in excel so it sorted alphabetically but by our first column which was nicknames (when we did the quick list to start we used nicknames).
FMIL was like why does william come before robert. bill & bob!! she ended up filling out the wrong card anyway LOL (a couple brothers' were sent there)
no one was really mad but it was funny.

YES I will return RSVPs promptly and in full & put a note if i can't attend (explaining why or apologizing. maybe also a cute note if i am attending (we look forward to those!)

i dont know i pulled the tab out for the battery & nothing. the BP was helping me put invites together and said stop messing with it and just use a reg. pen. so i did- and then i yelled at all of them when people started asking about their #s!!

I am in the process of sending out my invites within the next week. I told FH that I needed to # the back of the RSVP card and he looked at me like I had two heads. I explained that not everyone knows how to complete the card and send back. Some people don't write their names in at all. I should make him read this post.
