Is anyone sending any invitations to Europe? My mom has 3 cousins who are living in Germany for the year and she would like to invite them...the invites are going out next week.
What is the etiquette for the response card envelope? How much postage would I put on? Do I stick an Air Mail sticker on there? HELP!!

Invites to Europe
My Fiance is from England so we will be sending many invitations overseas. I haven't checked on the correct etiquette but I plan on putting the correct postage from England. I have an advantage as I will actually we probably be in England several times before next year in order to get the postage.
Since there are only a few relatives why don't you just call them and ask them if they are coming.

I figured I would want to put the correct postage, the question is figuring out how much that is...it's a bit annoying mainly because my mom is about 98% positive they will not be coming, but wants them to get invitations anyway...so I don't want to seem rude just sticking a 34cent stamp on there -- I wonder if the post office has any advice...Thanks Karen

If you bring the invitations in to the Post Office they will definitely be able to tell you the correct amount.
However, for the response card you can not use US Postage. You would have to use the country's postage. That is why you are better off just having them call you.

Yeah, I guess you are right - a call would be better. Thanks Karen!
