invites went out

so finally 2 weeks after we originally wanted them out we get the invites out. and let me tell you it was NOT easy.

i hate the post office in selden. for some silly reason i went there. waited about 90 minutes in line (and there weren't even that many people in front of me) finally i get to the front the woman tells me its going to take a 60c stamp. thats fine. gimme something pretty. they dont have any stamps.

what kind of post office does NOT have stamps? i still dont get it. So i had to drive around to another post office (of course with my gas tank on E yelling at me) finally get there and i love that lady. she had the matching stamps that we used on the rsvp cards. still took forever.

but i guess 2 hours of my life wasted is okay when you get pretty stamps??

Sorry you had problems

I've heard some pretty sorry stories from the girls here on LIW about the stamp situation, so I ordered my stamps from www.usps.com when I ordered my invites and the stamps arrived in about 2-3 days. Much easier then dealing with the lines.

i'm so excited.. we've already gotten our first official 'no'


we invited about 200 and only want 150 to come so this is a good thing... as long as we meet our minimum in the end
