Invites went out today !!

Ok -- I am so glad that is done !! We sent our invites out today -- and what a load off my mind !! It took forever-- But my Mom and I had fun doing it -- I suggest you try to have fun with it -- because it can become tedious! Good Luck .

And my wedding is at Flowerfield too! How is your planning coming along? You must really be on top of things if your invites went out already! Or maybe I'm just slow!

Well -- we have a ton of people on my Fiance's side that live in Ireland-- and my entire bridal party/ and family are from Philadelphia/South Jersey -- so we wanted to give people enought time to make hotel reservations.. My planning is good -- just getting nervous.. My dress came in this past weekend -- I was so happy !! It seems so real now!! How are yours going?

What hotel are you using? We are using the Wyndham. Rest of planning is going well. I think. Still have to figure out transportation and what kind of flowers I want but everything else is coming together. Where is your family from in Philly? I am from Philly too. Grew up in Abington.

Small World, Misha

My Mom was born and raised in Abington ! I grew up in South Jersey -- Washington Twp to be exact. Then I lived in Center City Phila for two years -- right near the art museum. Then I moved up here for a job in NYC-- and I moved in with my fiance.

Wow. really is a small world. I never actually lived in center city. I lived off of city line ave. for 2 years before moving up to LI to move in with my fiance. Lots of my friends still live in center city though!

Me too -- All of my friends still live in Phila/Jersey -- I work so much I have never made new friends up here yet !! Planning the wedding was hard by myself!

I'm in the same boat. Working way too much! My mom lives in San Fran so I haven't had a lot of help from her, she does what she can but she is just too far for most stuff. Fortunately, my FI has helped with everything!

Yes -- My FI has been very helpful also -- but there are some things you just want a womans opinion on !! LOL

I agree 100%. Sometimes my FI has too many opinions! When do you go to your tasting session? Is Florinda your coordinator at Flowerfields?

Misha

Yes -- Florinda is our cooridinator. She is so great. We go for our tasting on August 8th. I can't wait . The Maitre' d Scott (?) is so nice too -- I know they will take good care of us !

Yes, Scott is awesome too. He has the right answer for every question! We will be going in there in the next couple of weeks to set out all of the details, menu, etc...I'll let you know how that goes!
