invites w/poll

this can be compleltey anonymous, so if you spend a million or a penny, you don't have to say. just wondering what everyone spend. for 100 invites, response cards and reception cards we spend $326. i think this is fairly reasonable, we could've spend less, but we found ones we both loved so we went with it.

thoughts?

we spent a total of about $650 for about 85 invites. pricey, YES! beautiful, HELL YES. Do I regret it- DEFINITELY NOT!

invites were one thing I didn't care too much about. we went with something very simple and spend $235 for 125 invites. Got them from costco.com, they did a great job.

We are spending $150 but that is with over a 50% discount b/c we know someone in the industry. $300-$400 seems very reasonable.

We spent $500 for everything. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but they were a custom design done by a friend of a friend and we really love them. Plus, they're small and will only cost 39 cents to mail, with postcard reply cards, so I guess we'll make up the difference in postage Also, we could have gotten 75 invitations for less, but we need to send out like 74 and wanted more extra just in case.

We spent $100 for 100 invitations. People are just going to throw them out so I didn't care too much. Got them on ebay!

oringally, i felt the same way....they do wind up in the trash, but then i was like, i still want nice ones so maybe it will decrease the chances of it turning up in a landfill

I voted 400, but its actually ALMOST 300. I dont feel the need to spend so much $$$ on invites....the money is goin towards my honeymoon

OURS COSTED CLOSE TO 300 WITH A 30% DISCOUNT... I LOVE THEM THOUGH THATS WITH 125 INVITES, RESPONSE CARDS, AND ALL THE ADDED STUFF

We spent a little of $600 for 150 invites. My budget was $500, but we wound up w/ custom invites, so I was willing to go a little over.

That doesn't include stamps, and I'll most likely be addressing them myself since I did go over budget. It's the first thing people see, so I wanted them to be nice, but at the same time, most guests do toss them.

Holy Macaroni!!! I'm glad I saw this post!!! My brain is stuck on my sister's invites for $80!!!! That was 14 years ago!!!

I really am saving myself a bundle and a half by DIYing and I feel like our invites will end up looking top notch! I'm excited! I just ordered all of the supplies to make them. So the total cost without my precious labor of course put me in the second price range before postage. The postage will most likely end up being $1.11 a piece which is totally validated by what I am saving! I am so happy!!!!

Spending about $600-$700 for 125 invites but I love them and it is the first way people are introduced to my wedding (didn't send STD) so I didn't want to skimp.
