i am. i'm going to invite some of my co-workers and my boss.
Well when i was at my old job i had this issue. I didn't like my ex boss but was willing to invite everyone else. I would have ended up inviting her hoping that she wouldn't come.
I'm inviting my bosses and 2 coworkers. im trying not to become too friendly with anyone else! lol Its a hard thing to have to cut people out but you have to do what you have to do.
I would have to pick and choose since I get along with everyone but I can't afford to do that and I have been promoted twice in 6months so that's too many bosses and previous bosses to be political with. So I have opted not to invite anyone and not talk about my wedding. If anyones asks. I tell them I have a big family and I am trying to keep my guest list as short as possible.
I read an article once that said the best way to invite people without hurt feelings is invite the people you go to lunch with.
Im inviting a lot of co-workers b/c we have become really good friends.
No i have way to many people. Both my fam & Fh's is huge so we are already trying to trim from 300. We are looking at 250 at least . So no co-workers are invited.
i probably won't. i recently relocated to the Philly office and many people wouldn't come to NY for the wedding, there are many i don't like enough to invite, etc, so i don't think it's worth the hassle of inviting anyone.

I just started my job a month ago...so I am not sure yet. I still have a year and a half til my wedding, so I might form relationships with coworkers and I might want to invite them...we'll see!
Given size constraints, I think I will invite no one from work. I feel that I have to invite everyone or no one, and I am not super close to anyone. I am friends with one girl at work, but still not super-close, so I might see where the next year takes our friendship and whether we even have room for her and her husband.
I am. I'm really close with 5 of the ladies that work in my inner office. So, I'm inviting them. I'm also inviting my boss who works offsite and another co-worker who is on Maternity leave. These are all women whom I'm very friendly with and I couldn't imagine them NOT being at my wedding.

I am having such issues with this! I feel like if I invite the few people from work that I want to then I have to invite the two women I directly supervise even though I don't particularly like them. And then I feel bad inviting some people but not all... it's a mess!
What I might end up doing is just posting an invitation at work inviting everyone to the church, but not the reception.
I am having a hard time with this since we work 2 jobs together. I have been here 10 years and he's been here for 4 we love everyone but we have to figure out a cut off.
I am inviting all the people I care about at work I think its going to be alot of people but since I dont have much family here they are sort of like my family. Home away from home.

Do you girls think that co-workers expect to be invited? Or that bosses see it as a burden??
