I've been at my job for over 4 years and I've known this guy since the very first day. We aren't that close - we make little conversation here and there, but that's about it. Like a year & a half ago, his younger sister started working with us and I'm very close to her. Until she went away to college last month, we hung out outside of work a bunch of times and we keep in touch pretty often. She's become one of my best friends, and I'm inviting her to the wedding.
Do I have to invite her brother too? As I said, we really aren't that close and I know he isn't the type to get offended if he isn't invited.. but he knows I'm getting married and when I got engaged and booked my RH, he was actually working there on the side but isn't anymore. I know I have the room to invite him but I know that if I invite him, it'll be weird because we really aren't that close and it'll only be because I'm inviting his sister... What do you girls think about this?? Thanks!!

Re: Inviting coworker siblings...
If you aren't close to him and don't want him there, then I wouldn't invite him.

Anyone that has to be second-guessed IMO shouldn't be invited. Esp if it isn't family!!

Re: Inviting coworker siblings...
I would only invite him if you're inviting other co-workers beyond your friend (the sister).
