Ok...here's my dilemma. I am a manager of a department of 2 supervisors and 13 staff members. My original intention was to just invite the 2 supervisors, my boss, and some friends from another department. Does that seem ok? Or do I really need to invite my entire staff to the wedding?
One other question. One of my staff members invited me to his wedding in September but I did not go. Do I have to invite him?
Our guest list is getting bigger and bigger by the minute.

Re: Inviting employees
No, you don't have to invite your entire staff if you don't want to. Your intention to invite your 2 supervisors, boss, and friends sounds fine.
Just because one of your staff members invited you to his wedding doesn't mean you have to do the same. Your guest list has restrictions and they need to understand that.

No you don't have to invite your entire staff. Inviting your 2 sups, boss, and a few work friends is fine

Re: Inviting employees
i agree. they are adults and need to understand that you can't invite everyone.
i only invited 4 co-workers.

Re: Inviting employees
I am only inviting my department.. Otherwise it becomes too much. I worried about this for a while, but everyone can't expect to be ivited when a wedding costs more than my life!!!!
