If you are inviting them, are you sending them their own invitations, inviting them verbally, etc..??

I haven't decided yet... I really don't know the rabbi we are using - he's not affiliated with my temple - Am I supposed to send him an official invite or is he just coming to marry us?

We're going to send a formal invitation. It would be nice to do a verbal invite as well, but a written invite is good to follow up as a reminder.

if you're in a'rent-a-rabbi' situation, then you dont have to invite them. he/she will just do your ceremony.
