Re: inviting officiant
we are inviting our officiant and seating him at my parents table... but he is close family friend. not sure if that helps.
also, my friend was married by a judge and she invited him out of courtesy, but he declined the invite and just performed the ceremony.

we are not inviting ours. he is not a friend, just hired to perform the service. we've offered him to stick around for the cocktail hour though.

We invited ours - he's not coming but I wanted to invite him anyway.

Re: inviting officiant
We invited ours, but there was a miscommunication and she ended up only staying for the cocktail hour. We ended up having to pay her and for her unused seat......

Re: inviting officiant
I am inviting mine, together with his wife. I hope he says yes, but after reading the law on compensation I'm not sure he can.

The priest who is marrying us is a close family friend, and therefore, we will be inviting him to the wedding.

I'll be inviting our officiant, and I was assuming that I was gonna send an invite through the mail
