So I have a question- I just joined facebook and caught up with a few girls from college (one in particular) that I was really good friends with. She was one of my sorority sisters. We kind of lost touch (had a minor falling out) but it was years ago and I'm over it. We have been emailing and I'm sure we are going to wind up hanging out and catching up soon. She got married a few years ago and I obviously wasnt invited because we lost touch. Being that we havent been close in a while, but are starting to become close and catch up again, etc. do you think it would be stupid to invite her and her husband to my wedding? It's not like we NEED the numbers...it's more like I would like her to be there...like an old friendship that got rekindled...sorry if that sounds cheesy lol. But I just wanted to get some other people's insight...what do you girls think? TIA!

I think I would meet up with her face to face first and hang out, see how that goes and if it is good then I would invite her

I would also meet up wit her first then see with the connection... I had to do the same thing With my friend for 14yrs. We had a fall out, meet up and she was so fake. She still held the grudge. I didn't because her 2 sons are my godsons. I chose not to have her daughter as my goddaughter.

Same thing happened to me- I recently reconnected with an old friend from high school BUT I am not inviting her because invites are already out and I have limited amounts of blank ones.

i would meet with her a few times before inviting her. I was in a similar situation and my invite was rejected before I even sent it (I emailed her to get her full address and was told not to bother) and it pretty much ended any chance at a rekindled friendship in the future.
