When I got married, I wasn't very friendly with our Priest therefore I didn't invite him to Anything. He didn't do our rehearsal so I didn't invite him to the dinner. I have a friend getting married and she's wondering if she will need to invite the priest? Do you invite him to the rehearsal dinner and/or the reception? What is everyone else doing?
Since the priest doing my mass is no longer part of my church anymore I am only inviting him to the reception. I am very friendly with him and I would also like him to say grace at the start of the reception if you attends it.
I'm absolutely having the priest @ our reception.... Not only is he a family friend, but he's a great guy & can't wait til the day that he'll marry us.
We're inviting our minister to any & everything, but she's also my Mom's best friend so she would've been invited no matter what.
