IO, regular cable or satelite???

I have cable and I refuse to increase my package until they start carrying Yankee games. I would get a dish but my apartment complex does not allow it.

we have IO. We looked into satellite, but the cost was the same. We liked IO's options/features better.

I have IO, and to tell you the truth, there is nothing better on IO than regular cable! I still can't find anything to watch!

IO is Cablevisions digital cable. I'm finding th same movies on over and over and over. I mean how many times a week can I watch Rock Star or Lord of the Rings?

For those that have IO...is there a BIG difference in the quality of the screen???

Re: IO, regular cable or satalite???

I haven't noticed a big difference...the only thing I notice is that if you change channels fast, the picture gets digitally scrambled. Other than that, no difference, IMO.

Big difference in sound when it comes to digital cable.

Then I want to know is.. We just bought a big screen t.v, and it does NOT look as clear as when we saw it in the store. We dont knae IO or the dish.
So if there is not a big difference, then ????

Diane,
Can your tv take advantage of the digital picture? (Many televisions can't.)

we just got I/O and I must admit it is pretty cool. I think our cable bill only went up $10 or $15 a month. Ya know how there is nothing ever on TV? Especially on Friday nights? Well there are now literally HUNDREDS of channels including music stations Plus there is the on demand channels you can pay for -- kind of like pay per view but much much more of a selection. It goes nicely - hand in hand with our big screen entertainment system so we are making good use of that now and saving some money by not going out to the movies

I have DirecTV and I really like it & FH LOVES that I have the YES Network so he can see ALLL the Yankee games as well as any Yankee specials. However I do miss having News12. May have to do like Dani & have both.

my dad just hooked us up with IO yesterday-it's really cool---it's not a lot of money either-i think it turned out to be the same as regular cable--we can't do satellite because we have optonline -

I have regular Cable. I heard that IO has a lot of options that regular Cable doesn't so I am sure one day I will get that.
