Re: IPOD QUESTION

When you plug it in, make sure you click 'Manually Manage Music' when you get to Itunes.

Also, there is a program that you can download to get all your music off your Ipod and onto your computer. I forget what its called but google it.

I dont think you can help losing your songs...when you plug your ipod into another computer it has to reformat in order to hook up to itunes and be able to buy songs and download songs...this happened to FHs ipod and he had 4000 songs in which I had to redownload everything back on... next time BACK UP BACK UP BACK UP.... when you back up onto a dvd disc it can hold thousands of songs and it takes minutes to get them all back onto an ipod if it crashes or whatever.

SORRY!!! What a pain!

oh I forgot about this...the program is senuti....log onto the site and follow the directions...then backup everything that is on your ipod to a disc and burn it into your laptop....you will still have to reformat your ipod but you will have everything on your ipod saved to a disc after you use the senuti.

Re: IPOD QUESTION

First thing is when you put your itunes on the laptop you dont have a library at all on there?

Cause what you first do is change the check off box where it says to automatically start to upload/DL onto your ipod.

Go to this website, this is how I got mine back up when I lost everything.
