Hi, my name is Deborah I am a newly engaged Iraq Veteran. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom III with the NY Army National Guard 42 Infantry Division.
As all of you already know a wedding can be very costly. My future husband and I will be funding our celebration on our own. We would be very greatful to any vendors who could help us reduce the financial demands of a wedding.
As a soldier I would be very appreciative of any business that is willing to offer military discounts in honor of my service to my country.
We have not yet made decisions on anything including location. We are very open to ideas.

congrats!!! My fiance is also in the Army, and while you might get some vendors to work with you on price because of the military, you might have some trouble. We've asked every place we go to about a discount bc of the military, and haven't gotten any at all.
