Irish Coffee Pub or Timberpoint?

I am torn between the Irish Coffee Pub and Timberpoint Country Club. Can anyone offer me any feedback on either of these venues? Thanks so much!

I have only been to the Irish Coffee Pub and the food is amazing!! I love the setup of the room. The only thing that bothers me about the place is that the bathroom is on the first floor and there is no elevator.

I've never been to Timberpoint but I have been to ICP on a few occasions. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. Are they owned by the same people?

Never been to either-but for years I've heard great things about Irish Coffee Pub.

Thanks guys. I am confused because I like the outdoor ambiance that Timberpoint has to offer, as well as the fact that everything is located on the same floor. But I really clicked with the people at ICP and have heard only rave reviews about their food. Both were very quaint and beautiful. Decisions, decisions!

I'm having my wedding at Timber Point, so obviously I like them! But I've eaten at the Irish Coffee Pub many times and the food is very good, and it has a very comfortable ambiance. However, as someone else said, there's no outdoor option--nowhere for pictures, no option for cocktail hour on the terrace, no outdoor ceremony. It's one of the reasons we went with them--I really want to be married outside (and the weather better accomdate us!) If you're having a winter wedding, it would be more difficult to choose. If you're having a spring, summer or fall one, I'd go with Timber Point. One other thing--Timber Point only does one wedding at a time. Would you have all of the Irish Coffee Pub to yourselves, or would it be open for dinner? I wouldn't like that, it was important to us to be the only thing going on.

i actually didnt have the best experience at Irish Coffee pub... i was in a wedding and we had the rehearsal dinner there and anyone who had the fish got really really sick . I was throwing up the whole wedding day, just barely made it down the aisle. The father of the bride and a few groomsmen were sick as well.

Irish Coffee Pub also owns the Bellport Country Club if you are looking for more of what Timber point has to offer look wise. Just a suggestion.

Irish Coffee Pub....my sister had her sweet 16 there a while back, but we've been there for other functions and we booked my shower there.

i booked at timberpoint so i'm partial
but i've never been to ICP so....

fh and i both really liked all the outdoor space, hopefully the weather will cooperate and we'll have our ceremony and CH outdoors. it just felt like a nice cozy place. GL!

Thanks so much everybody for all of your input. We're going to go look at both places again back to back tomorrow and hopefully one will stand out more to us then. Both places really do seem lovely - good luck to any and all of you who have considered either!
