Irish Officiants

Does anyone know of any Irish officiants? My FH is dead set on having an Irish officiant for our wedding as something special for his family. Would truly appreciate any information.

Thank you!

What do you mean by an Irish officiant??????? I'm confused.....Do you mean someone from Ireland marrying you??? Why would that matter?

I had many Irish aspects to my wedding (my parents are from Ireland) so I included many parts of my hertiage in my wedding, but more in terms of music, the Mass and food....Our officiant were 2 American-born priests.

Most Irish or Irish-American people are Catholic and marry in the Church so their officiant is usually a priest or deacon, but that person would be whomever is the priest or deacon at the bride's particular parish.

Feel free to FM if you have any questions...
