Can you use starch when ironing linen? I am wearing a linen skirt today that I ironed last night but now looks like I slept in it.

Re: Ironing Linen
I hate ironing. I try and throw things in the dryer for a few minutes to get wrinkles out. If I absolutely have to,then I will iron something. Answer to your question:Don't ask me. I don't know.

YUP you can use starch, it works wonderfully on it too. I usually leave the ironing up to Roger

I love to dryer iron, it is the only way I know how.
Or if I really need something ironed I wait until to the last minute, and tell my mom, I am really running late could ou iron this, even if I am just sitting in my bedroom watching tv. She ususally falls for it!!!

Re: Ironing Linen
When I iron linen, I usually use starch, but it still gets wrinkled. About the linen water, I use the lavender scented one from L'Occitane on my curtains and tablecloths, and it doesn't starch the fabric, it only gives it a scent.

Re: Ironing Linen
I think I will have to go to Marshalls, I just went to the website and one bottle is $14 For $14 it better iron for me too
Linen Water in SPray Bottle
Used traditionally to perfume the household linen, these unique and lightly scented waters represent L'OCCITANE'S Provencal heart and soul. To use, pour into iron well, or spray directly on sheets, linens, towels and draperies. Linen Water will not stain and leaves a gentle, light scent.

dryer sheets give clothes a fresh smell too, and you don't have to do any work! just turn the top and press the on button.

Re: Ironing Linen
The linen water? I get it at L'Occitane But I've also seen it at Williams Sonoma, though it's not available online. You're lucky he loves to iron! My FH has no idea how to iron, but I don't mind cause I love him I see you found it, sorry for the late post, I was on the phone...

A man who does not iron his own shirt cannot complain about how they get so crisp
