I STILL havent gotten my W2 from my previous job, after calling them to ask for it. So last week I called the IRS. They took the name and address of my job and said within 2 weeks they would send my old job a letter mandating them to send me my W2 within 10 days or they would get a fine. They would send me the same letter, confirming that it was sent. Well, i got the confirmation today, but the address of my old job was WRONG, so who knows if they got it.

How frustrating...my old school had sent my w2 to my old address & I just got it last week. I wasn't too happy

I had a similar problem with a former job. My W2 had been mailed, but was mangled so badly by the post office it was returned to the employer.
I would call your old job again and ask to speak to a supervisor. And stay on them about it.
