the one he tried was white gold and it was 600, fortunoff just called me with the price on the platinum and its 1750.

It's a bit too pricey in my opinion. But that dependso n our feeling on platinum. We didn't like it so we went with white gold.

Yes-- do not buy at Fortunoff- you are paying like 40% more than you would if you went to the diamond district-- FH got a platinum band and it was less than $1K-- even though the jeweler said the price of platinum was high at the time we purchased.

Alittle too expensive. You can definitely find it elsewhere cheaper. My FI used to work in the jewelry industry and he said you can definitely get better deals at the Jewelry exchange in Jersey! Hope that helps

I would look other places than Fortunoff for a platinum band ~ you'll probably have better luck with the pricing - a jewelry exchange would be a better option

We personally don't like platinum, so we went with white gold and paid about $250!
