is 2 months

too late to be sending out thank you notes from our wedding?

i just got our thank you notes printed from the photographer this weekend and by the time i write over 150 of them it'll be past 2 months after the wedding...hope that's not bad etiquette!

nope...i went to a wedding in november and today was the first time i actually wondered when a thank you would come.

most people understand that you have to wait on the photographer to produce them before you can actually write them!

I think the norm is 1 year. I went to a wedding in October and haven't gotten a thank you. I wonder if it's because the envelope with cash got lost or they just didn't like our frugal gift.

not at all... I still havent gotten a TY card from my friends wedding on 10-10-10.. Now im starting to wonder if we will ever get one. 2 months is nothing! Your fine! your guests know it takes time!

I just got one for a wedding in July..and I went to a wedding memorial day weekend(not this past one, the one before) and didnt get the thank you card til June... 13 months later.. 2 months is super fast!

Not late at all! I would think within 3 months is the norm.

Not at all. Nowadays people know you want to wait for the pictures to come back to send thank you notes. I would try and get them out before 6 months though I think you have up to a year.
