no i think that is fine .. i sent mine the 2nd week of April with a RSVP date of May 18 and my wedding is July 3 .. i wanted to give myself enough time ....

I am mailing on July 1, RSVP Aug 10, wedding Sept 3. And that is for a holiday weekend. People don't need 3 months notice, especially if you sent STDs.

I would send them out the first week of June instead. I plan to mail mine the first week of July- my RSVP is August 4th.

I think that's a little too early. People only need one month to respond. I would wait until June.

I think it's ok, or maybe the first week in June. People always make pland quick for the summer months. I would send them when you planned if you haven't sent out Save-the-Dates.

I would definetly wait until the first week in June b/c of Memorial Day Weekend. People get busy, you dont want your invite to get put on the back burner and possibly forgotten.

Sending out an invite 3 months before your wedding is too early. Did you send out STDs ? Most people don't need that much time to make a decision whether or not they are going to attend.
You've got 5 weeks between your RSVP date and the wedding. That is PLENTY of time to get the straggling responses in before you have to start making phone calls. When does your RH need the final count ?
Wait until June to send out the invites. Narrow it down to 4 weeks before your RSVP date. That will still give people a little over two months notice.

I am sending them out the last week of May Date twin right after the holiday. hopefully if they are done. I don't think its a problem if you send it out on the 21 thats about 8 weeks. I think if you want to get then out send them 1 week is not going to be a big deal. I did n't send out STD did you?

yes i sent STD's. unfortunately the rh needs the head count by 7/19. so with a rsvp date of 7/12 that only gives me a week to get the stragglers.

I would wait until June. My wedding is 9/22 & the RSVP is 8/25. I plan to mail them some time around the 3rd week of July. That gives just over a month to the RSVP date & just over 2 months until the wedding.

I would wait... I sent mine out the 2nd to last week in April with an RSVP date of May 17th for my June 16th wedding and some people forgot to send them back . If you do it too soon they will forget and you will have to remind them. I know how exciting it is to mail them out but I would at least wait till the 2nd week in June.

I got an invite yesterday for a 8/9 wedding. It's typically 6-8 weeks, but if you have a lot OOT that need hotel info or didn't send STDs I guess you could.

i didn't send the hotel info with the std. so maybe i'll just send the oot people their invites next week and then mail the others June 1st.

I think June is fine to send them out. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how early you mail them, people are still going to slack on sending back the RSVPs

I said NO but be weary that people may put off responding because they have 'time' and then they may forget to mail in by your response date.
I can't tell you how many people forgot to respond to us ontime.
