Is 7PM too late for our church rehersal to start???

we will be having our rehersal on the thursday before, and I was thinking it should be later, so people can work that day. but is 7pm too late?? dinner will be to follow around 8pm?? TIA!!

That sounds fine to me!! I wouldn't think it's too late, like you said it's a Thursday night when people will be coming from work.

I don't think it's too late, mine is at 7pm on a Saturday! We didn't choose the time, that's the time the church was available.

I think 7 is just fine. I think it is courteous to those who need time after work to get there.

We are doing the exact same time - 7:00 rehearsal and dinner to follow - prob start dinner at 8 b/c our priest told us rehearsal would be no more than 45 minutes. We looked at it as better for ppl who work b/c they would not need to leave work early on Thursday to make it. I know I would prefer a later start time if I were in a wedding party. HTH!

nope mine is at 7 15pm. it helps people get home and change if they want b4 coming to the rehearsal

I agree with everyone. I think it's fine. Mine will be at 6:30pm on a Thursday and noone's complained thusfar.

I think that's perfect. Ours is at 8pm but we have to wait w/ any other weddings that weekend, first come, first serve, we're not sure what we're going to do about dinner....
