Is a DOC Necessary?

Do we need a Day of Coordinator? I'm on a budget but at the same time i don't want to be stressed out the day of worrying about the details and such. Can you please share your experience and quotes you may have...Thank you

Is a DOC Necessary?

I couldn't be happier that I had Cheeky Glam there with me. Contracted with them about 7 months before our wedding and they were there to answer any question or help with any problem I had alone the way. The last month we were always in contact, and the last week they took over and removed all my stress. they made sure that the day ran just the way I wanted it to and they took care of the small problems that came up. Heather & Jamie were worth every penny spent, they were my angels sent from Heaven.

Is a DOC Necessary?

I had budgeted my wedding down to the penny and there was no room for DOC. When my aunt offered to pay for my gown, I researched DOCs, uplighting, photobooths, etc. trying to decide where to put the extra money. The reviews I read about DOCs are always great. Most brides say they feel like they were UNDERcharged! I booked a DOC with my extra money (Cheeky Glam.) I don't feel like they ask a lot at all. So far, they have been great with answering my little questions leading up to the big day and easing my worries. I'm really looking forward to working with them on my wedding day.

Being in the industry- i see everything from the beginning process of hair and makeup the day of.. flowers gone wrong, bridesmaids with attitude, little details you dont want to worry about the day of...I highly reccomend a day of coordinator because they will be your voice- get things done and take care of any and every situation - Seriously this was one of the first things I booked after seeing what can go on, and The last thing I would want that day is to be more stressed.. The DOC'S are LIFESAVERS!

I think it is helpful but I know a lot of ppl who haven't had one and they survived. If you can afford it, go for it!
