Is a year to early for STD'S

I'm having my wedding at East wind caterers, and they only have 50 hotel rooms available. SO.. I wanted to send out STD's in March (1 year before the big day), to let people know they have to book their room, if they want one.. Is it too early, 1year ahead? thanks

i think a year is ok as long as you're pretty set on the guest list- or only send those out to people you are definitely inviting.

I think that's ok, since they have limited rooms available.
