Is an expired reg on a car points?

My temp is expired because there was a mix up at the dealer when I got my new car. Is it points or just a fine? TIA

no, you would just get a ticket (finr) if you get caught.

it could affect your insurance- they will be notifies that you car is not reg and drop you- plus they might consider you more of a liablity

b/c he let the reg and then the insurance expire

My car is reg but my temp expired. The perm reg was mailed out supposedly by the car dealership but I never recvd it. I called them and they said there is nothing they can do. I did ask for a replacement reg online just now and it will take 2 weeks to get. I guess I will just have to pray that I don't get caught

We pay over $400 a month on car insurance. I can't take it

if you can prove the car was actualy registered on the date that the ticket was issued...I think they wave the fine.

you can get the perm reg if you have time to actually visit the DMV...instead of waiting for the mail.

As long as you have the paperwork to prove it you are ok...they throw out the ticket. I got a ticket for driving without my license, went to court and it disappeared
